I love being in the high country with my dogs in tow, well out of reach of the buzz of modern life. Stepping into a high alpine vista restores my equilibrium and perspective. The original painting for this pattern was inspired by a hidden meadow of wild lupine that I discovered off the beaten path. I wanted to share this experience of discovery and awe so we adapted the original painting for our organic square cotton scarf line.
